What Do College Students Want
Now don't get me wrong, I'm not completely around the bend or anything like that, but please stop telling me to enjoy being single because “one day” I might find myself with a wife, children and an expensive apartment, being single is not what I want to be for the rest of my life. I have been single for all my life, single is my closest companion, I have had more relationship problem's than relationships, I want to have a real relationship with someone other than my pet rat, college dating can by trying at best. Why does it seem like everyone else is successful in relationships but me, Losing in love has become a habit that is getting harder and harder to break.
I once asked someone close to me (no not my pet monkey), but rather a college friend how they do it, I explained to her that when I go to get togethers, the other girls seem to have no problem approaching the guys, but no matter who I take a shine to, I am constantly outmaneuvered by other women who walk away with the trophy. Her answer was to ask me if I would let someone elbow me out of line at the bank. I replied I would kick them and tell then to get in line and wait their turn like everyone else. She said excellent, the next time some babe tries to steal your man toy just push her aside, grab the guy and make him yours. Maybe I should have asked my gold fish.
College guys are a complete mystery to me, I'm a smart attractive coed but they act like I am a wart on their butts sometimes. The ones I do go out with are only interested in sexual stimulation, for most college guys you have to put our or get the hell out, so I'd rather get out.
But its not just me that has problems, there are some college boys that have the same problem with college girls. It seems if you won't go to bed with them they want nothing to do with you, its too bad because most people have more to offer than just sex. The guys tell me that many of the coeds want them have sex with them off the get go and if they want to wait a bit she spreads rumors that they're gay. Most of these poor unfortunates are great guys that respect women and don't just think of them as an easy piece, why can't these women see that these men will not accept this sort of treatment.
However there might be a silver lining to this cloud, several of the men and women have decided to signup to some of the better online college dating sites. They have heard some amazing stories from other college students who met their dream date on one of the college dating sites. They said the people on these sites don't care don't care if you work out or not and they are into more activities than just sex, sex, sex, they're really nice people, and college students like us. They have a life plan that includes more than just getting through the current semester. They are interested in finding that certain person and one day settling down. My best friend met his future wife on an online college dating site, I was surprised because it happened so quickly, that they were an item before I knew he was going to join an online dating site.
My friends have been so successful that I have decided to try it for myself. My friends told me about this site they found that lists and ranks a bunch of online dating sites, and they have an entire page on just college dating sites. This is where they started and they recommend it to everyone. Who knows maybe I'll finally find someone who is caring and decent. What Are Gay Men Looking For
Some people believe that all gay men are shallow when seeking someone for a permanent relationship with. But that just isn’t how it is. Of course many of us prefer someone who is healthy as well as physically fit; pretty much everyone wants that, right? In fact sometimes it is hard for the ones that do not fit that type to find a partner. It is more of a challenge for gay men because they are in a minority. Some gay men are shallow and there's not a lot you can do to change that. My belief is that if they don't find you attractive they're not worth losing any sleep over and you can probably do a lot better.
With age comes wisdom, and as gay men mature, they will tend to mellow out and look for someone who is more of a friend than just a hot body. In the meantime, you are likely stuck playing the game and going to the gym regularly so that you can increase your pick up potential. Looks tends to be very important to younger gay men, but it is not the only thing. Most guys do not want to date someone that is fat. Personally for me I have to be very attracted to the person before I even have any idea's about approaching another man, let alone start a relationship with them. I guess that makes me shallow, but satisfied.
Why are so many young gay men interested in slim trim athletic types? Guys in general are sexual creatures and want to have sex with good looking guys. This also holds true for many young men are only looking for sex and not any form of long term commitment. But with varying 'attractive' criteria in different cultures, it is still possible for chubby men to get action. It really does not matter the reasons why people choose the way they do. Some people just behave this way when it comes to picking a potential life partner its just who they are.
Don't get me wrong, I have nothing against people who don't measure up to my standards as far a dating goes, most of them are nice people but I just would not consider dating them. I have some great friends that I wouldn't trade for anything in the world, and I met most of them online. That's right, as a matter of fact most of the guys I have dated in the past few years I have met through internet dating sites. You might think that I am callous because I can see what they look like before I put the moves on them, but it is more than that. Many of them are people that I happened to meet in chat rooms on dating sites and I became interested in them because of what they had to say. I have not dated many of them, but I do consider many of them to be among my circle of friends now. Besides, one of the best advantages of online dating is that when you just don't have the time to go out socializing, it's an easy way to meet and interact with people and it's fun.
I think I am at that cusp in my life where I am transitioning from casual pickups to a long term commitment. I am not quite ready to make the commitment jump yet, but I am thinking that a few longer term relationships might help me get past the fear that I have of being exclusive with just one person. Thats where the online dating comes in, you see when you join an online dating site both you and he know where each other stands so there's no surprises. If you hook up and it turns out that you're not really interested in a particular person but you sense their being a little pushy just move on to the next person, no harm done. And if by chance they start to hassle you online, well all you have to do is block them, with online dating sites your real email address phone number and address are never given out so there's no worry about someone spying on you following you unless you were stupid and gave them your personal contact information already. The best thing though is that most of the men on dating sites are just like you, and are unlikely to push themselves on someone where the affection is not being returned.
For the most part most men do not care so much what you look like, or how you style your hair or whether or not you work out or not. They just want to find someone compatible. They would like someone with similar interests, who is intellectually challenging and has compatible personality traits. Someone who is compassionate, caring and giving. A person who stimulates them both intellectually, emotionally and sexually. A friend with benefits.
So if you want to expand your horizons, consider joining an online dating site. There are many, many really solid sites out there that are totally committed to helping you find someone special in your life. They have members from all walks of life and cultures all looking for someone to share their time and lives with. So why wait? Get off your tush, get online and check them out. You won't be disappointed. At worst you will meet a lot of interesting people that you will come to regard as friends, even if they never make it to lovers. Below is the link to the site that I use, they have so many sites to chose from, I'm sure you'll find one that has what your looking for.

College Dating
Now don't get me wrong, I'm not off my rocker or anything like that, but please stop telling me to enjoy being single because “one day” I might find myself with a wife, children and a condo, being single is beginning to wear on me. I have been single for all my life, single is my closest friend, I have had more than my fair share of relationship problems, I want to have a real relationship with someone other than my sex toys, college dating is very frustrating for me. Why does it appear like all my friends are in a committed relationship but me, Why can I not be successful at finding the love of my life?
I asked a close companion once (no not my pet monkey), but rather a college friend how they do it, I explained to him that when I go to meet people at parties, the other guys seem to have no problem approaching the women, but no matter who I take a shine to, I am constantly outmaneuvered by other men who walk away with the trophy. His answer was to question me if I would just let someone jump in front of me in line at the grocery store. I replied I would kick them and tell then to get in line and wait their turn like everyone else. He said good, the next time some creep tries to rob you of your women play thing just push him aside, walk up to the women buffet and grab your piece. Maybe I should have asked my cat.
I guess I do not get some college women, I'm a smart attractive young man but they act like I have two heads. The ones I do go out with are only interested in sexual stimulation, for many college women you have to shell out or get out, so I'd rather get out.
But its not just males that have problems, there are college girls who do not seem to play well with college guys. It seems if you won't get in the sack with them they think you are a pansy, its too bad because I have a lot to offer, other then sex. The girls tell me that a lot of the college guys expect them go to bed with them and if they want to wait a bit he trashes them to his friends. Most of these poor unfortunates are great girls that have respect for guys and don't just think of them as an easy lay, why can't these guys see that these women will not accept this sort of treatment.
There may be, however, a silver lining to this cloud, several of the guys and girls have decided to go online to some of the college dating sites they've heard about and sign up.. There have been some real success stories floating around about how guys and girls met their soul mates on these sites. They said the people on these sites don't care don't care if you work out or not and they're not just interested in a good time in bed, they're really nice people, and college students like us. They have a life plan that includes more than just getting through the current semester. They hope to meet the person of their dreams and settle down to a long future together. My best friend met his future wife on an online college dating site, I was surprised because it happened so quickly, that they were an item before I knew he was going to join an online dating site.
I have decided that I'm going to give it a try for myself. My friends have given me a 'college dating sites' link to try. They said that this is where they started to look for college dating sites to join, and they have nothing but good things to say about the way the site recommends and rates the various college dating sites. Hopefully I will be as successful as they were and find the person that I will spend the rest of my life with.
